Some Sunny Day:
Before the play I didn’t know what to expect, however I’ve seen some very good shows at Walkworth before, so I was looking forward to it. However no matter what I saw before this was definitely the best evening I had at Warkworth. It could have been a review type thing with the theme of the 2nd World War but the group made it more, by rounding it as a complete story from beginning to the end of the war. They did this by personalise it with actually accounts of a local women, which included her view of the beginning, during and the end of the war. This ensemble of stories, music, and sketches was put together brilliantly, the actors executed their pieces with brilliant precision and were a joy to watch. However in amongst the humour they captured the tone of the war it wasn’t all laughs they were many serous moments too. Overall it was a very good evening and I would go back in an instant to see them again, and would recommend other to do so.
