DICK of WHITTINGHAM

Dick of Whittingham was the 2004 pantomime written and produced by Brendan Brown and Adrian Wood. It began with Dick deciding to go to Newcastle to find his fame and fortune. His cat Percy was chosen to be his companion. While he was gone his widowed mother was robbed and kidnapped to become a cook on the ship belonging to the evil King Rat, and his hoard of henchmen. Poor Dick was left to rescue his poor mother, and save the day.
